It could be nearly a half mile wide and it's approaching Earth rapidly. Don't panic, though, Space.com says Asteroid 2004 XP14 is not a danger to us, but it will be quite a sight to see. As it passes us, just slightly farther away than the moon, astronomers will be busy trying to get a better feel for its size using RADAR. Meanwhile, amateur skywatchers all over the world will be trying to catch a glimpse. Excellent article by Nick Greenespace.about.com/b/a/256724.htm
