Sydney terrorism suspect Faheem Khalid Lodhi has been found guilty of three charges against him for planning a terrorist attack in October 2003. According to reports, Lodhi showed no emotion as the jury foreman announced the three guilty verdicts. It is alleged that in October 2003, Lodhi inquiried with a chemicals company, downloaded aerial photographs of defence sites, bought maps of the electricity grid, and had recipes for explosives and poisons. In Lodhi's defence the jury was told that the chemicals and map inquiries were part of plans for a family business and he wanted the photographs for his portfolio, because he had worked at the sites as an architect. Lodhi face's a sentencing hearing next week.

Beware anyone emulating Agatha Christie and doing research for a murder mystery.
The charges could be many and varied and pretty well defenceless.
