Iran eyes badges for Jews and Christians
Law would require non-Muslim insignia
Human rights groups are raising alarms over a new law passed by the Iranian parliament that would require the country's Jews and Christians to wear coloured badges to identify them and other religious minorities as non-Muslims.
"This is reminiscent of the Holocaust," said Rabbi Marvin Hier, the dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center in Los Angeles. "Iran is moving closer and closer to the ideology of the Nazis."
Iranian expatriates living in Canada yesterday confirmed reports that the Iranian parliament, called the Islamic Majlis, passed a law this week setting a dress code for all Iranians, requiring them to wear almost identical "standard Islamic garments."
The law, which must still be approved by Iran's "Supreme Guide" Ali Khamenehi before being put into effect, also establishes special insignia to be worn by non-Muslims.
Iran's roughly 25,000 Jews would have to sew a yellow strip of cloth on the front of their clothes, while Christians would wear red badges and Zoroastrians would be forced to wear blue cloth.
"There's no reason to believe they won't pass this," said Rabbi Hier. "It will certainly pass unless there's some sort of international outcry over this."

I wonder if the world will do the same as it did facing the rise of fascism in the '30s (nothing) or will we stomp it out before it gets bigger than all of us......

Iran is on a serious power trip. The problem is however that many of it's people are scattered around the world making the danger of what it may do an even bigger threat to the world. Facism such as tagging non-muslims and Jews is evidence of it's preparation to single out who to kill and not to kill in your own back yard. The trouble is that the US is already over-extended in it's manpower. It gets back to the Muslims creating trouble in many backyards to scatter the superpowers clout. The trouble is this manouvre works. The world has to give Iran a serious bashing now before it gets out of hand.

Looks like the only solution is to fight fire with a conflagration of biblical proportions... smack 'em so hard that it will be ages before the bolshy element sticks its' head outta the tent. The Iranian president should be the 1st candidate for a Barrett round @ 1km... nut-job lunatic that he is. |

Why didn't the media start frothing at the mouth and scream RACIST!! at the Iranian government?
