Beaconsfield Miners Diet A Best Seller
The latest new trend for weight loss is to sit in a dark hole for a week with a close friend, with only a museli bar between you. The Beaconsfield Diet is expected out in paperback soon and could be a smash hit in the bookshops. It is likely to surpass the CSIRO diet which recommended eating at least one cow a week, supplemented by a vat of chocolate.
The two miners found alive in the Beaconsfield mine are expected to be released later this week and will be taken directly to hospital via a private contracting business based in Kuwait.
After the rescue is complete the mine will be transformed into Beaconsfieldworld, where thrill seekers can relive the experience of one week's sensory deprivation. This can also be achieved watching nightly episodes of Big Brother.
The imminent release of the two Tasmanians has come as great news for their immediate relatives, which in the last census totalled 500,000.
