That great buffoon, Kim Beasley, unwittingly demonstrated to the nation the high level of collusion there is between politicos and the media. He also demonstrated just how rotten and corrupt this collusion is.
In his budget reply speech, Kim Beasley spent a good five minutes ranting about foreigners in Australia taking jobs off good true blue Aussies. He even singled out Chinese as being especially bad at causing Aussies to get the sack and then taking their jobs. He ranted about the wrongfulness of foreigners getting training in Australia and how training should be reserved for young Aussies instead of being given to these foreigners.
Pauline Hanson was persecuted and vilified for years by all levels of the media and political parties for making a few comments that were far less inflammatory than the xenophopic venom spat out by Kim Beasley in his budget reply speech.
What was the reaction in the media? ZERO! not a whisper, not the tiniest squeak of protest, nothing.
We now know that all the forces against Pauline Hanson had nothing whatsoever to do with racism, or morality. It was a carefully orchestrated campaign to get rid of a political opponent that was seriously threatening to take a slice of the political pie off the existing entrenched groups.
People in the highest levels of politics and the media colluded to destroy this poor woman purely because she threatened their own comfortable arrangements.

Yes, and they even made sure she went through the indignity of going to prison to further dampen her spirit. Pauline Hanson said what a lot of true blue Aussies thought and was persecuted for it. Both the ALP and the Libs have been pretty good at being racist and discriminatory lately, maybe we as voters should demand the same treatment for them.

Their duplicity is surpassed only by their craven cowardice. Self-serving protectionism is rife, time for an election with some new faces on the register I guess..... Lennie for Dictator!

What is really a worry, is how easy it was for the big players to sucker relatively large numbers of people into believing their line and getting them to go out and actively persecute and vilify a particular group. In a very short time we saw ordinary Australians screaming abuse, spitting on and bashing people who did nothing more than turn up to listen to what Pauline Hanson had to say at public speeches.
Frightening mate, the Brown Shirts are still there waiting and the pollies know they can call them to attack anybody they point the finger at.
