FORMER prime minister John Howard has taken aim at the Rudd Government and his own party over their winding back of his WorkChoices legislation, calling it a "mistake" that would injure the Australian economy.
In an hour-long speech to the neo-conservative think tank the American Enterprise Institute in Washington - his first major public address since losing office and his seat - Mr Howard touched on many of his favourite themes, such as the rise of "Islamic fascism" in the world, China's role, the culture wars, the importance of the traditional family, choice in education and the liberal media, as well as some more surprising themes, including an attack on the Archbishop of Canterbury.
Hear that sound? That's the sound of Australia not giving a fuck.
Good luck in America, Johnny. Maybe if you keep reading aloud from the neo-con playbook loud enough and long enough they'll take you into a back room and let you touch Dubya's cock.
