UE, GB win defamation case against Habib but UE loses against Chesterton
Former Guantanamo Bay detainee Mamdouh Habib has lost his case against 2UE Pty Ltd and Macquarie Radio Network Ltd in the District Court, Sydney. Mr Habib claimed that he had been defamed in three separate broadcasts, all on the same day, by Ray Hadley, Steve Price and John Laws on August 18, 2005.

Stubley was GSM at ARN and Edwards was promted from Network Promotions Director at MRN.
