no doubt youve seen all this below. Whats the use of fining the chaser as we fine ourselves as the taxpayers own the place.
That skit on how funny the phone calls were from the 9/11 victims before they jumped was horrorfying
Sell the ABC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1.

from the Australian
JOHN Howard said it was "despicable and distasteful". Kevin Rudd said it was "disgusting and just wrong".

At least three callers to the ABC switchboard echoed the outrage of the political leaders.
And although it's not known what the 1.48 million other Australians who watched The Chaser's War on Everything on Wednesday night think of the comedy team's song about how famous people's flaws are generally airbrushed into history after death, it's a fair bet that the ABC thought the fallout from the gag was great publicity.
Most news bulletins last night reported on the controversial program, while talkback radio and news websites were flooded with comments about The Eulogy Song, which lampooned the likes of Steve Irwin - "lived in khaki, a cartoon kamikaze, who taunted crocs and tots so frequently" - and Peter Brock - "some rev-head who pumped the air with pure lead". Don Bradman was remembered as a "grumpy tight-arse" while Princess Diana was labelled a "slut".
The Prime Minister was not amused. "Look, there's some aspects of the Chaser program that are highly amusing," he said. "But heavens above, I mean that sort of distasteful stuff about Don Bradman and Steve Irwin is contemptible, and they've basically blotted their copy book.
The show's executive producer, Julian Morrow, said the comedy team had anticipated the song would offend some people, but said the version that went to air had been "toned down" from what was originally planned.
