Like many last election, I was guilty of voting in the Howard Government. In the last year though I wish I had not have. For starters, there is the new IR Laws which have created industrial unrest, the price of petrol that the Government sits back and ignores, the changes to legislation surrounding refugee acceptance, the new Smart Card and a multitude of broken promises and lies. All of these things at a time when the ALP appears to be leaderless. The sad part is that the Howard Govt is getting away with it. There is 18 months or so to go before we have another election and the ALP has to lift it's game if it is to have any impact. We all need to start looking at how the Howard Govt is becoming dictatorial and stop it if we are to remain a democratic society. What are your thoughts?

In all likelihood, nothing will be done about it, and people will continue to complain about how bad things are/will be. The next government will be at least as bad as this one, and probably worse. Have a nice day.
