Software « Thread Started on Dec 11, 2007, 5:46am » Well I must say that I have been using Raduga since 2000 and find it a very good automation program I have looked at Zara Radio which is virtual rip off of Raduga. Raduga is a easy to use automation system that community radio presenters of all ages find very easy to use. I spent months testing it for a community radio station and after doing a demo to the members the station decided to implement it as there automation system of choice. Several automation systems were tested OtsJuke (Which is now know as OtsAv) Simian (Which is formerly known as Wave Station) and Raduga. Raduga is excellent for live assist programming however if your planning on using it for automation when no presenters are on air then things become a little labour intensive you'll need a good play list generator program to help you or you can sit there and prepare your own logs about 10 would be enough and just rotate them. Overall the best advice I can offer which is unbiased is to download a few demo versions and try them for yourself. Peter Hines www.retrorewind.org
